On the inside, the Jimny sports a nine-inch SmartPlay Pro Plus touchscreen infotainment system, automatic climate control, cruise control, power mirrors and windows, steering-mounted controls, keyless entry, and an Arkamys sound system.

With the Jimny, there’s only one engine choice available in India. It is the K15B naturally aspirated petrol engine, which is a four-cylinder mill producing 103bhp and 134Nm of torque. One can have it either with a five-speed manual or a four-speed torque converter automatic.

The five-door Jimny has not been tested by any NCAP body yet. However, the SUV comes with six airbags, ABS with EBD, ESP, hill-hold and descent control, and ISOFIX child seat-mounting points.
